The company of the Royal Sussex Artillery Militia, doing garrison duty at the Littlehampton Fort, are a remarkably fine body of men, selected chiefly from the neighbourhood. They are under the command of Captain Moor, of Wytham, near East Grinstead, the other officers being Lieutenant Molineaux, of Lewes, and Lieutenant M. M. Turnor, of Stroud.

The general conduct of the men is highly satisfactory; and, owing to their intelligence and zeal of their officers, we have to record (upon the authority of competent persons, who have observed them under drill), that their efficiency would do credit to any troope of the line.
